of experience as a music instructor, director, composer, and performer. Nirosh's
expertise spans a wide array of instruments, including the organ, piano, sitar,
saxophone, violin, guitar, mandolin, tabla, and traditional Sri Lankan drums. His
extensive experience in teaching and performing, combined with his ability to
compose and direct music, makes him a versatile and dynamic force in the music
industry. Nirosh's passion for music and dedication to his craft are evident in his
numerous contributions to school bands, choirs, and inter-school competitions. He has
a proven track record of success in music education and performance, making him a
vital part of the Raaksha initiative.
Wijeathna Dissanayaka
Dancing Director
Wijerathna Dissanayaka is a highly esteemed dance professional and former dancing
consultant at Ananda College, Colombo. With over 31 years of teaching experience,
Wijerathna has been instrumental in shaping the dance landscape in Sri Lanka. His
expertise extends to organizing professional dance teams that have performed
internationally in countries such as France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Cyprus,
Malaysia, Singapore, and now, for the first time, Sweden. Wijerathna's talents are not
limited to performance; he is also skilled in designing dance costumes, stage
decorations, and using traditional materials like palm leaves for artistic creations. His
extensive experience and deep understanding of Sri Lankan dance make him an
invaluable asset to the Raaksha initiative.
Vidura Dias Abayagunawardana

Vidura Dias Abayagunawardana is a multifaceted creative force with a remarkable portfolio that spans media, music, writing, directing, and event management. His career began as a young announcer at SLBC and evolved into roles as a news presenter, voice artist, and scriptwriter for Sri Lanka’s top private media network. A prolific lyricist, his songs have been performed by the nation’s most esteemed artists, while his talents as a writer extend to poetry, articles, and creative content. As the founder of Sheila Time and Space, Vidura excels in event management, advertising, and publications, directing major cultural events across Sri Lanka. He also manages two YouTube channels, VYRICS for his lyrical work and MANTHRANA for broader creative content. A skilled moderator and public speaker, Vidura has hosted numerous high-profile events and continues to be a prominent cultural ambassador. Now based in Finland, he remains deeply connected to Sri Lankan heritage, bringing his vast talents to the Raaksha initiative.
